If people think voting for the same names every election will cure the mess in Augusta, then go for it. For me, a younger candidate who thinks she can make a difference would be a breath of fresh air.

For the voters in Litchfield, Monmouth and Wales, such a candidate has surfaced and if people get a chance to discuss the issues with her, I think they will be impressed.

A former student of mine, Rachel Sukeforth, is just such a candidate for the state Legislature.

Sukeforth not only cares about the issues and the people she will represent, but she also has some specific ideas about how to fix any problems.

Isn’t it about time there was a young, enthusiastic candidate who cares about people and not special interests?

Rachel Sukeforth will not disappoint the public.
