AUGUSTA — Timothy Nightingale, executive vice president and senior lending officer for Camden National Bank, announces that Dean Waterman has joined Camden National Bank as vice president, commercial banking officer.

Waterman will be based in the newly-acquired Auburn branch and will manage commercial banking relationships throughout the Lewiston-Auburn market.

Waterman has 17 years of lending experience, most recently serving as vice president, business banking relationship manager for KeyBank in Lewiston. Prior to that, he spent eight years at Peoples Heritage Bank/TD Bank working in several areas, including mortgage lending and retail and small business development. Before that, he was a loan originator for Crossland Mortgage Corp. in Auburn.

Waterman is active in the community, serving on the board of the Maine Youth Camp Foundation and on the Androscoggin Chamber of Commerce Education Committee. He also volunteers, coaching soccer and softball, and is the co-director of a children’s church program in Brunswick.

He lives in Poland with his wife and two daughters.
