GRAY —   Freshman forward Kaelyn Woods notched the first and game-clinching goal with 13:08 remaining in the opening half to lead Gray-New Gloucester to a 3-0 victory over Lake Region in EWC girls’ soccer action Friday.

The Patriots (5-6-4) led 1-0 at the half. Julia Martell collaborated on offense with a pair of assists for Gray-New Gloucester.

Goalie Isabel Scribner made 10 saves for the Lakers, while goalie Sam Wilkins was left idle in net to earn the win for Gray-New Gloucester.

Hall-Dale 2, Mt. Abram 0

FARMINGDALE — Maura Stottler collected the eventual game-winning goal at 32:08 of the second quarter to lead Hall-Dale to a 2-0 victory over Mt. Abram in girls’ soccer action Friday.

Eva Shepherd provided an insurance goal at the 16:47 mark for the Bulldogs (9-5-1).

Goalie Allison Lopez made 11 saves for the Roadrunners (8-6-1), while goalie Olivia Maynard prevented three to earn the win in net for Hall-Dale.
