AUBURN — Mary A. Wall, 97, of Auburn, passed away Friday, Oct. 19, at the Clover Health Care facility.

She was born in Providence, R.I., April 21, 1915, the daughter of John F. Tierney and Martha J. (Lindsay) Tierney. She graduated from St. Xavier High School in Providence. On May 13, 1939, she married John J. Wall.

Mary had an unwavering faith in God. This was especially evident in the loving care and moral guidance she gave her family and in her generosity to those in need. She had an immense pride in her Celtic heritage and the years did not dim her Irish wit.

She will be greatly missed, but lovingly remembered by, her sons, Edward and his wife, Constance, of Lisbon, James and his wife, Constance, of Malvern, Pa., Dr. Robert Wall and his wife, Deanna, of Lewiston and William and his wife, Sue Ellen Wall Esq., of Austin, Texas; her daughters, Sheila and her husband, Dr. Henry Aliberti, of Auburn and Kathleen and her husband, Scott Spector, of Lisbon; her daughter-in-law, Nancy Wall; her grandchildren, Susan Corcoran and her husband, Michael, John J. Wall III. Esq., and his wife, Dina Jellison, Esq., Christine Wall-Lacombe, Edward J. Wall II and his fiancee, Karen Weber, Caroline Rachfalski and her husband, Daniel, Amy Pinault and her husband, Roland, Catherine Kulkarni and her husband, Kaushik, Timothy Wall, Mary Wall, Marco Aliberti, Julie Aspinall and her husband, Christopher, Ethan Wall, Kevin Aliberti, Thomas Aliberti Esq., Lindsay Wall, Audrey Birch and Jack Wall; her great-grandchildren, Courtney Mumford, Katelyn Lacombe, Richard Lacombe Jr., Megan Rachfalski, Acadia Pinault, Abigail Pinault, Jacob Wall, Tyler Wall, Aiden Jellison-Wall, Sophia Jellison-Wall, Giada Jellison-Wall, Michael Aspinall, Jensen Aspinall, Evan Aspinall, Lilia Kulkarni and Edwin Corcoran; and her great-great-grandchild, Lucas Mumford.

She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, John; a daughter, Mary; and son, John J. Wall Jr.
