RUMFORD — Cecile L. Hebert, 86, of Franklin Street, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 23, at Rumford Community Home, following a brief illness.

She was born Oct. 18, 1926, in LaPatrie, P.Q., a daughter of Albe and Eva (LeBlond) Latendresse. Cecile received her education in the schools of LaPatrie and received her high school diploma from the Commerce High School of Worcester, Mass., where she resided for many years.
She was also employed with Oxford Paper Co. for eight years; then later was employed by Allegro Micro Systems of Worcester, Mass., for 26 years as a quality control inspector. After retirement, she moved back to Rumford.

Cecile was a communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior and was a member of St. John’s Guild and the Senior Citizens Club. She enjoyed many trips over the years. She enjoyed reading, and keeping in touch with her friends, spending time with family and helping those in need.

Surviving are a brother, Hubert Latendresse and wife, Solange, of Canada; a sister, Jeannine Poulin of Canada; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Nelson; six brothers, Gaston, Camille, Normand, Yvon, Robert and Berthold Latendresse; and three sisters, Reinette Coulombe, Lucette Goguen and Marielle Hamilton.
