LEWISTON — Louise J. Carey, 70, of Circle Drive, died unexpectedly at her home, Sunday, Oct. 21.

She was born in Rumford, Oct. 7, 1942, the daughter of the late Gaston and Juliette (Lapointe) Carrier. She was educated in Rumford and graduated from Stephens High School, Class of 1961.

Louise worked for many years as a branch manager at Key Bank and then went on to work for Per-Se until she retired in 2003. She was a member of the Pastime Club and The Lewiston Auburn Senior Citizens.

Louise enjoyed playing cribbage, camping, bowling, going to casinos, dancing and following her son, Terry, playing softball. Most of all, she loved her family and spending as much time with them as she could.

Louise leaves her two sons, Kevin Goguen and his wife, Therese, of Lewiston and Terry Goguen and his wife, Donna, of Minot; five grandchildren, Joseph, Sharayah, Evan, Samuel and Nicole; and two great-grandchildren, Shannon and Jackson and her companion, Dan Cyr, of Lewiston.

She was predeceased by her last husband, Dwight Carey.
