I support freedom of choice. Workers should have the choice whether or not to join a union. That freedom was taken away during the Baldacci administration.

In District 15, Sen. Lois Snowe-Mello supports that right and is willing to support the Maine Right-to-Work movement.

Her opponent, John Cleveland, supports forced unionism and is counting on the union bosses to support him.

In Maine, tens of thousands of workers are forced to pay tribute to a union boss just to keep their jobs. Passing a state Right-to-Work law would end big labor’s power to compel Maine’s workers to pay for the privilege of working, just to support their families. It would also give a huge boost to Maine’s economy. During the past 10 years, private sector employment in Right-to-Work states has increased more than five times faster than in Maine.

I support Sen. Lois Snowe-Mello for re-election.
