DIXFIELD — The RSU 10 board this week approved a three-year contract for the 100 or so bus drivers and custodians.

Superintendent Tom Ward said it includes wage increases of 2.45 percent, retroactive to July 1, for the first year; 2.56 percent the second year; and 2.41 percent the third year.

RSU 10 will pay 94 percent of the health insurance premiums for single employees, and 84 percent for families.

The district has been working for three years to bring all bargaining units in RSU 10 to an equitable salary and benefit level. This contract completes that effort.

The board also approved 1 percent salary increases for the 14 members of the Central Office staff and the nine technology employees for 2012-13. RSU 10 will pay 94 percent of the health insurance premiums for single employees and 84 percent for families for both groups.
