PARIS — Paris Public Library is participating in the American Library Association’s International Games Day on Saturday, Nov. 3.

Along with hundreds of libraries across the country, the library will be offering a variety of games for all family members Saturday afternoon.

The fifth annual celebration will highlight the game Labyrinth, a race for treasure in a moving maze. The game is for ages 7 to 99 and takes 20 to 30 minutes to play. Also featured will be computer games, Bookworm and Bookworm Adventures.

Playing games teaches a variety of social skills and promotes creative thinking. They stimulate the brain with their elements of risk and chance. They also are great for families and friends to spend time together and bond.

International Games Day is a national initiative supported by the American Library Association. For more information on National Gaming Day, visit #http://ilovelibraries.org/gaming.
