Auburn needs more leaders like state Sen. Lois Snowe-Mello. She works tirelessly, often without recognition, on behalf of her constituents.

One recent example was her attendance at Auburn’s public meeting concerning the Route 4 corridor, from about the outlet to the Turner town line.

She could have been at the candidates forum at USM LAC getting media exposure but, instead, chose to listen to those who spoke expressing their concerns.

If re-elected, her first goal is to submit legislation and get the local legislative delegation to work together as a team to help pass it to get funding to alleviate some of the problems to make Route 4 safer. She knows if nothing gets done, the potential safety and lives of those who live in the area and travel on it could be at stake.

She has my vote because she has the experience and patience to get things done.
