FARMINGTON — University of Maine at Farmington Director of Athletics, Fitness and Recreation Julie Davis announces that Peter Lefresne has been named as the interim UMF sports information director.
Lefresne comes to the university from Juniata College in Pennsylvania where he served for five years as an assistant athletic director, sports information director and public relations contact. Prior to his work at Juniata, Lefresne worked in sports information at the University of Maine, Old Dominion University and Virginia Military Institute.
Originally from Ottawa, Ontario, Lefresne received his bachelor of arts degree from Old Dominion University in Virginia.
