AUBURN — Sandra L. Lemay, 72, of 26 Webster St., also known as the Wal-Mart lady, died on Friday, Nov. 2, at Clover Health Care, Auburn, with her family by her side.

She was born May 16, 1940, in Lewiston, the daughter of William and Ruth Gosselin. Sandra worked in local shoe shops for many years.

She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, traveling to the White Mountains and making baked goods for her family. She enjoyed the holidays. Christmas was her favorite. She was a member of Court Street Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Herbert Davis, Jr. and his wife, Ruth of Auburn; daughters, Cindy Walker of Auburn and Valerie Rowe and her husband, Armand of Hartford; grandchildren, Beth McInnis, Timothy Lane, Jr., Ronnie Walker, Jr., Ryan Walker, William Rowe, Magen Rowe, Tiffani Rowe, Kerrie Forget and Michael Fogg; great-grandchildren, Savannah Duteau, Tracey Coburn, Haylee Coburn, Caralee Coburn, Stephanie, Faith and Paige Lane, Mason and Jayceon Walker, Skylar Rowe, Jacob Fogg, Abbie and Noah Forget and Hayden; sister, Priscilla and brother, Bobbie Good; friend and father of her children, Herbert Davis, Sr.; many nieces and nephews; and two special nieces, Debbie and Brenda.

Sandra was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Ronaldo Lemay, brothers Bruce, Lucien, Willie, Donnie and Ronnie Gosselin and a sister, Valarie Jacobs.
