NORWAY — Carolyn Tripp Taylor, 87, of South Paris. On Nov. 4, her sweet precious spirit went home to be with our Lord.

She was born in New Gloucester, April 12, 1925, the daughter of Leon and Alma True Tripp. She was a strong example as a mother and grandmother, who was dedicated to her family, solid in her faith, fun loving, caring of others, and a loyal friend.

Throughout her life, she maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the hearts of many, who even now are being changed by her witness of constant love and faith. Her signature gift of joy, shown through her forever smiling and laughter, will never be forgotten.

Carolyn is survived by sons, Marvin Jordan of Alfred and Al Jordan and wife, Shirley, of Poland; daughter, Norma Vantour of Huntsville, Ala.; four grandchildren, Dominique Kreger and husband, Tim, of Alabama, Heather Gould of Corinna, Chad Chaloux and wife, Heather, of Windham, N.H., and Aaron Vantour of Alabama; six great-grandchildren, Cale Kreger, Jack Kreger, Alex Gould, Ryan Gould, Avery Chaloux and Lauren Chaloux.

The family gives a profound thank-you to all the staff and nurses at Norway Rehab. For their wonderful nurturing care of our Mom during her six year stay. They treated her as family, we talked, we laughed, we cried, we became friends. The exceptional care they provided our Mother will be cherished forever.

Be still and know that I am GOD. Psalm 46:10.
