Returning skiers: Boys: Junior — Cory Iba; Sophomore — Anthony Franchetti, Felix Bonnevie, Max Kay. Girls: Senior — Katie Lewis; Juniors —Mallory Parker, Katerina Bessey, Hannah Gibson; Sophomore —Becky Close.

Key losses: Lucas Bonnevie, North Kay, Alex Chandler, Heather Farrington, Abby Ellis, Marina West.

Promising newcomers: Boys: Dylan Roberts, Kyle Farrington, Liam Welch.

Outlook: The Cougars are in the unfamiliar position of skiing without a safety net this year. The depth that has been the trademark of their dominance isn’t there this year. But the talent, while young, is still there to repeat. Kay finished third behind the skimeister champion, brother North. Parker looks to improve on top-10 finishes in both events last year. If they stay healthy and upright, the Cougars will have to make room for more hardware.
