CARRABASSETT VALLEY — For the second year in a row, The Bank of Maine has teamed with Sugarloaf and Sunday River ski resorts to offer Maine residents discounted lift tickets, rentals and ski school packages during Maine Ski Day on Sunday, Dec. 16.
All Mainers who show proof of residency will enjoy discounts, including $29 lift tickets, $20 ski or snowboard rentals and $39 Learn-to-Ski or Snowboard packages from the Perfect Turn Ski and Snowboard School.
“At The Bank of Maine, we know the value of a healthy and active lifestyle,” said John Everets, chairman and chief executive officer. “Skiing is a great way to stay active and bring the family together in the wintertime.”
Brad Larsen, Sugarloaf’s vice president of sales and marketing said, “With discounts on tickets, rentals and lessons, this program offers all Mainers a chance to get out on the snow, whether they are first timers or lifelong skiers.”
Sugarloaf and Sunday River are Maine’s largest ski areas, offering a combined 285 trails, 1,798 skiable acres, 30 lifts and nine terrain parks, as well as a full calendar of events throughout the winter season.
