When Barack Obama was running for president, he said he would not touch Social Security or Medicare.

Now, he says we won’t get any more raises. But you can bet that Medicare costs will keep going up, causing me to lose some of my original paycheck. I just got about a $26 a month raise, but I only get about $10 of it.

I have a question for all those politicians: Are they going to give up their raises? I just bet they won’t. They will get a $50,000-a-year raise because they have to be paid big money to figure out how to make trouble for the little guy.

I love this country, but I don’t care very much for the way the politicians run it.
