Sermon topic: ‘Ordinary Time’

PARIS — The First Universalist Church on Pine Street will feature Silver Moore-Leamon as guest speaker for the Jan. 13 worship service. The title of Moore-Leamon’s 10 a.m. sermon is “Ordinary Time.”

Music is under the direction of Donna Hurd and Sunday School is under the direction of Renee Wales.

Coffee, fellowship and good conversation will follow the worship service and all are welcome. Childcare is available and the First Universalist Church is wheelchair accessible.

Pathway expands to Augusta

AUGUSTA — Pathway Vineyard Church, located in Lewiston, will hold a kick-off of their third location, Pathway Vineyard Church-Augusta, on Sunday, Jan. 27. Pathway Vineyard is a multi-site church known for its contemporary style and relaxed atmosphere.

Pathway’s ongoing motto and mission, “Loving God, Loving People” continues to apply to its new location meeting at the Sylvio Gilbert School, 1 Sunset Ave. Pathway offers a place for people to belong, find hope and bump into Jesus.

The Grand Opening celebration, as well as the weekly service, starts at 10 a.m.
