AUBURN — A Massachusetts man was arrested Monday night in connection with a home invasion that sent three people to the hospital, police said.

Three masked men entered an apartment at 123 Winter St. at about 10 p.m. and demanded money and drugs from the three residents. The men had a handgun, but fired no shots, police said.

They assaulted the three occupants and took an undisclosed amount of cash and medical marijuana.

Megan Poulin, one of the residents who feared for her life, jumped from a second story window, police said. Police had responded to the address after receiving a report that a pregnant woman had been assaulted and jumped out a window. Police didn’t confirm Tuesday that it was Poulin.

She and the other two apartment residents, Joe Remillard and Brenda Henry, were taken to St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston where they were treated for injuries and released.

Shortly after receiving information about the home invasion, police stopped a car on Main Street in Lewiston, just over the Longley Bridge.

They arrested Kourtney Williams, 22, of Dorchester, Mass., on charges of elevated aggravated assault, burglary and robbery as well as an unrelated charge of driving without a license.

He was held Tuesday at Androscoggin County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.
