STRONG — Dr. Cameron Bopp will be returning to HealthReach Community Health Centers this month.

He will return to the Strong Area Health Center where he provided medical care earlier in his career. He will also be filling in as needed when regular providers are unavailable at other health centers.

Bopp recently traveled extensively, providing medical care through Doctors Without Borders, an international organization that offers urgent medical care to victims of war and disaster. In addition, he brings extensive experience in teaching and medical leadership in the U.S. and abroad.

He received his medical degree at the University of Missouri. He completed a residency at Maine Dartmouth Family Practice in Augusta and additional training in medical ethics and tropical medicine. His areas of expertise include end-of-life care, medical ethics and international medical care.

Dr. Bopp will be joining 45 physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers, dentists, hygienists and physician assistants who provide medical, behavioral and oral health care to 30,000 Maine residents and travelers each year.

HealthReach Community Health Centers is a system of 11 federally qualified health centers in Central and Western Maine.
