AUBURN — Announcement is made of the engagement of Claire Cuno and Brian Mahon, both of Brooklyn, N.Y.
Miss Cuno is the daughter of James Cuno and Sarah Stewart of Santa Monica, Calif. She is a 1999 graduate of Lexington High School in Massachusetts and a 2003 graduate of Bates College with a bachelor’s degree. She also received a master’s degree in 2011 from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College in New York City. She is employed as a social worker and senior trainer at Global Kids Inc. in New York City.
Mr. Mahon is the son of Guy and Joan Mahon of Auburn. He is a 1997 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 2001 graduate of Boston University with a bachelor’s degree, and a 2011 graduate of New York University with a master’s degree. He is a third grade special education teacher at P.S. 111 in New York City.
The wedding will be held in August in Norwich, Vt.
