Turgeon

AUBURN — The wedding of Kelly Lynn Lessard and Michael Robert Roland Gerard Turgeon was held at 6 p.m. on Aug. 10 at the East Auburn Baptist Church. Pastor Roger Cousineau officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Turgeon is the daughter of Ray and Linda Lessard of Lewiston. Mr. Turgeon is the son of Robert and Vicki Turgeon of Auburn.

The bride wore a white taffeta gown with metallic embroidery, rhinestones, crystal beading and sequins with a semi-Cathedral train. She carried a bouquet of red roses.

Kim Lessard was maid of honor for her sister and Kristy White, sister of the bridegroom and best friend of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessica Hunnewell and Elizabeth Turgeon, close friends of the bride. Flower girls were Mackenzie Lessard and Selah Leen, nieces of the couple.

Serving as best man for his best friend was Marc Gilbert. Ushers were Steve Gilbert, Mike Levasseur Grant Poulin, best friends of the bridegroom. Ring bearer was Skyler Lessard, nephew.

A reception followed at the Carriage House in Lewiston, after which the couple traveled to Mexico. They are residing in Lewiston.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Lewiston High School and is employed at Androscoggin Head Start.

The bridegroom is a 2006 graduate of Poland Spring Academy and is employed at Wal-Mart Distribution Center.
