FARMINGTON — A spelling bee was held at the Mount Blue Middle School library on Jan. 11.
Students placed as follows: first, Grace Andrews, grade 8, Farmington; second, Amber Luicha, grade 7, Wilton; third, Zeke Robinson, grade 7, Farmington; fourth, Hayley Garcia, grade 7, Farmington; fifth, Noah Widen, grade 7, Wilton; alternate, Kayla LeGrand, grade 7, Wilton.
The district bee was held at Cape Cod Hill School in New Sharon on Jan. 15. MBMS student Zeke Robinson came in third and will be going to the county bee at Strong Elementary School at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5. Noah Widen will be an alternate.
