FARMINGTON — On Saturday, March 2, the Farmington Rotary Club will put on its popular 2013 Price is Right game at Mt. Blue Middle School, from 6to 8 p.m. This local take on the TV show of the same name will have a Cabin Fever 50s theme this year, and the audience is always encouraged to dress to the theme.

The venue was changed this year due to the school district’s ongoing construction project at the high school location, and the new location allows plenty of parking and room for even more residents to enjoy the game in the gymnasium area of the middle school.

A committee of Rotarians are very busy designing this year’s games and gathering prizes. There will be games, entertainment, refreshments, an intermission period and, of course, the two large showcases for which the contestants called to the stage will compete.

Rotarians promise there will be plenty of prizes, trivia giveaways, fun and surprises.

Dreaming Big will provide the musical entertainment and games will include Queen of Hearts, Beat the Clock, Plinko, Punch Out, Yodeler, Pick a Number and the spin off for the two big showcases.

General admission tickets are $10, and admission to the site will begin at 5:30 p.m.  The first 50 tickets sold will get an arm’s length of extra raffle tickets for the night of the show. Tickets can be purchased at Douin’s Market, Madore’s Market, Ron’s Market and from individual Rotary members.
