LEWISTON — Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice presented six outstanding individuals with Employee of the Year Awards at the agency’s gathering in 2012.

At the end of each year, Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice recognizes and honors employees who have made outstanding contributions to the agency throughout the year. The recipients were nominated by their peers for exemplifying one or more of the agency’s values – integrity, stewardship, accountability, compassion, quality and trust. The 2011 award recipients are:

Tammy Benson, RN, in the Norway office, was nominated for the agency values of stewardship and quality. She proactively pursued training in medical/surgical nursing after practicing as a mental health nurse for years.

Steve Doyon, administrative services/facilities management supervisor, was nominated for the agency value of stewardship. He is responsible for some of the agency’s largest expense accounts: utilities and facilities maintenance.

Ann Jani, RN, in the Wilton office, was nominated for the agency values of integrity and stewardship. She serves patients in the Rangeley area. She is known for a consistent “can-do” positive attitude.

Sherri Jordan, team leader for administrative services, was nominated for the agency value of trust. She is someone everyone trusts and relies on every day for everything from a damaged cellphone to on-call issues and facilities maintenance issues.

Bobbi Kimball, administrative assistant in the marketing and development department, was nominated for the agency value of quality. She was recognized for her critical role in the “revamping” of the website.

Margaret Quinn, hospice RN in the Lewiston office, was nominated for the agency value of compassion. She is always willing to help out even when her caseload is way above average.
