DEAR SUN SPOTS: As a child, my now-deceased father lived on Lincoln Street with his family. He and his six siblings went to school at St. Mary’s in Lewiston. One of Dad’s fondest memories (he was born in 1922) was of being in a harmonica band run by one of the nuns who taught there.

I’ve checked with the Franco Collection but have been unable to find others who might have been in it or to find any information about the group. Do any Sun Spots’ readers know anything about the harmonica band?

DEAR SUN SPOTS: On Dec. 4, I was out and about in Lewiston-Auburn running errands and lost a diamond stud earring that is very sentimental to me.

I’ve had the earrings since 1998; they were from my parents. They both died that year, and I would really like to find the one I lost.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I’m hoping you can help me. About a year ago I purchased a magnetized sign for my car. Sometime during the end of December the sign came off the trunk area of my car. I believe it happened either near L/A Arts on Lisbon Street or at Camden National Bank on Spring/Court Street.

I’m wondering if anyone may have seen my sign on the ground, on the road or in a parking lot, etc. The sign was white with my business logo (an artist standing on a computer keyboard). The name of the business is AP Graphics.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: On Saturday, Jan. 12, I was at Shaw’s in Lewiston at 1 p.m. and misplaced my Shaw’s and CVS rewards card and a $10 CVS gift card.

I went to all the aisles to see if I had dropped them. Then I went to the service desk to ask if someone had found them, and lo and behold they had them.
