WILTON — A local man wanted on 15 counts of sexual abuse in Kentucky was arrested Wednesday night on a charge of being a fugitive from justice, police Chief Heidi Wilcox said Thursday.

Sgt. Chad Abbott arrested Jaime P. Johnson, 44, of Wilton without incident at 11:50 p.m. at a home on Village View Street, she said. The arrest was based on an outstanding warrant from Kentucky State Police.

Wilton police received information from Kentucky State Police that Johnson was in Wilton, Wilcox said. Kentucky State Police want to extradite him to that state, she said.
