LEWISTON — Raymond M. Cote passed away Jan. 23, at St. Mary’s Hospital, comforted by family members. His weakened heart gave way Wednesday evening after a short, but painful six month battle with leukemia (AML).

Raymond was born in Lewiston, April 25, 1963, son of Paul-Emile and Adrienne (Theberge) Cote, a graduate of Edward Little High School. He worked some years in the abatement removal industry.

Ray was an avid fresh-water fisherman; a member of B.A.S.S., a member of the NRA, a big WWE smack down fan and loved instrumental jazz and rhythm and blues. In the last year of his life, his new interest was learning to fly.

He will be sadly missed.

Ray is survived by his brothers and sister: Donald Cote (wife, Linda) of Sabattus, Jean and Robert Cote, both of Lewiston and Lucie Cote of Lewiston; as well as nieces, great-nephews and a great niece.

Service and celebration will be held at a later date.
