LEWISTON — Fire officials on Thursday were investigating an early-morning fire that rousted several tenants from their apartments at 166 Blake St.

Firefighters contained the blaze to the third-floor apartment where investigators said it began. No one was hurt, but one family was displaced because of fire and water damage.

Fire crews took 15 minutes to knock down the flames, but by the time it was contained, an estimated $80,000 damage was done to the building.

Lewiston Fire Investigator Paul Ouellette was searching for a cause.
