LEWISTON — Theresa G. Dionne, 80, a resident of Montello Street, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, Feb. 5, at Russell Park Nursing Home.

She was born in Lewiston, Aug. 26, 1932, the daughter of Phillip and Rea Morin. She married her soul-mate, Herman Dionne in May 1954, and she became an Air Force wife, traveling to Texas and California.

For many years, she worked by her husband’s side at State Farm Insurance. Theresa enjoyed traveling and visiting Hawaii, California, and every state along the East coast. Upon their retirement, they moved to Davenport, Fla., where they lived for 13 years and where Theresa found great pleasure in decorating their retirement home.

She was also an avid shopper for every occasion-she shopped through the mail, on QVC, on the web or in the mall. Theresa was a life-long member of the Prince of Peace Parish at Holy Cross Church.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years and three children, Joline Gruz and husband, Steven, David Dionne and wife, Kim Chapman-Dionne and Linda Seamans and husband, Alan; grandchildren, Joe Dionne, Katie Gruz, Nathan Gruz, James Dionne, Daniel Seamans and Anna Dionne; a sister, Doris Laliberte and husband, Robert.

She was predeceased by her mother and father; a favorite aunt, Elmire Cayer-Dugas; her brothers, Robert Morin and Raoul Morin; and a granddaughter, Nicole Seamans.

We want to thank Russell Park and especially “Tinkerbell” for their care of our mother during this journey.
