1934 – 2013

AUBURN — Laurance M. Morse, “Morsie”, 78, of Livermore Falls, passed peacefully at the Androscoggin Hospice House in Auburn early Saturday morning, Feb. 16.

He was born on the family farm March 2, 1934, Livermore Falls, a son of Marshall B. and Doris S. (Thompson) Morse. He received his education in Livermore Falls schools and on Dec. 11, 1954, married Beatrice Fish.

Mill and retiring from Wausau.

He was a member of Red Sox Nation and always enjoyed being with his late cousin, Robert Walton, and Bob’s boys, camping at Ragged Lake.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Beatrice of Livermore Falls; their two sons, Gary Morse and Peter Morse and his companion, Patricia Malone, all of Livermore Falls; his grandson, Jacob Morse; and great-grandson, Jordan Morse; and special friends, Herb Robertson and his wife, Jodie, and Carole Redman, all of Livermore Falls.

He was predeceased by his sister, Elvira Morris; and his brother, Linwood Morse.
