Maine Gladiators Girls U12 team are State Champions

AUGUSTA —   Maine Gladiators Girls U12 won the MEAHA Maine State Championship last Sunday in a 3-1 victory against Casco Bay U12 Girls at The Bank of Maine Ice Vault in Augusta.   Goalie Payton Winslow shut the door and put up two shutout periods after a goal by Casco in the first.  Avery Lutrzykowski factored in on all the Gladiators offense with two unassisted goals and an assist.  Isabelle Frenette netted the first goal of the game assisted by Avery Lutrzykowski  and Rayna Sage.  
The Gladiators will be representing Maine in the Regional tournament held March 8-10 in White River Junction VT.
