With a traditional boiled dinner of potatoes, cabbage and corned beef, live Irish music, and Guinness stout, the Franco Center will host a pre-St. Patrick’s Day celebration from 6-10 p.m. Saturday, March 16.

Tickets are $25 and include dinner and each patron’s first pint of Guinness (or any other beer served at the Franco Center) along with live music from master fiddler Frank Ferrel accompanied by Maine Fiddle Camp founder Greg Boardman and his wife, Jessie Boardman.

Then on St. Patrick’s Day, two of Maine’s most talented guitarists, Denny Breau and Arlo West, will team up to reprise their recent “Standing Room Only” concert in Norway with an afternoon of live blues music from 1-4 p.m. Tickets are $10 and are only available at the door.

Both events will be held in the Franco Center’s Heritage Hall with its entrance on the corner of Oxford and Cedar streets.
