AUBURN — Basil Savage, 88, of Auburn, died at the Hospice House on March 11, with family and friends by his side.
He was born in Jerico, Vt., Dec. 6, 1924, to Tressa and Bill Savage. He enjoyed fairs and rides on Sundays.
He is survived by brothers, Billy and Bobby Savage; daughters, Anita Morency and Patti Fose and son-in-law, Don; grandchildren, Shannon, Melissa, Mindy, Tricia, Shara and David; niece, Gail; nephew, Joe; brother-in-law, Dewey and sister-in-law, Lotus; friend, Judy; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by parents; wife, Blanche; daughter, Diane; son-in-law, Dick Levesque; brother, Donald; and sisters, Betty and Shirley.
