LEWISTON — The Center for Wisdom’s Women, a day drop-in center for women, hosted an evening of “Singing Our Lives” at Trinity Church in recognition of International Women’s Day on March 9.
The next singing circle will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, at the center. No experience is needed. For the first hour, those who wish share simple songs with repetitive words and melodies. A birthday ritual begins the second half of the evening. Hot tea will be provided. Bring munchies to share and rhythm instruments are welcome.
The center is located at 97 Blake St., between Pine and Ash, behind the Healy Terrace building. Look for the door with a large sunflower sign next to it. Limited parking is available along the building and the fencing. Parking is also available on the street or in the garage one block away.
