DIXFIELD — Production is under way at the Dixfield Congregational Church where once again handmade half-pound Easter eggs will be available for sale to the public.

The church partners with local Girl Scout Troop 329 to make and sell the culinary treats. Flavors available are Butter Cream, Coconut, Chocolate Nut, Chocolate (no nuts) and Peanut Butter.

Each egg is $5 and comes boxed for gift giving. The eggs freeze well also. The recipe and plan for the eggs come from a small church in Southeast Pennsylvania, which sells many of them each year.

Pre-orders can be picked up Sunday before or after the 10 a.m. worship service. Eggs will be sold to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 24.

The church is located at 16 High St. For additional orders, see any parishioner or call the church office at 562-4582.
