WESTFORD, Mass. — Lois S. Grant, 89, of 3 Park Drive and formerly of Littleton, Mass., died Wednesday, March 20, with her family by her side after a short illness.

She was born in Turner, May 17, 1924, the daughter of the late Earle L. and Mildred (Warren) Staples. She was a graduate of Leavitt Institute and was married to Joseph O. Grant, who predeceased her.

She enjoyed her family and especially enjoyed all her grandchildren. Lois was a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary 8395 and AARP.

She is survived by five sons, Earle C. of Manchester, N.H., and his fiancé, Ruth Turcotte of Augusta, Warren L. and his wife, Rita, of LaBelle, Fla., Sheldon L. and his wife, Linda, of Littleton, Mass., Joseph W. of Hudson, N.H., and John L. and his companion, Sandy Heise, of Port Orange, Fla.; one daughter, Joanne L. Grant of Nashua, N.H.; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Ester Mair and Mary Blanchard; and two brothers, Stanley Staples and Earle Staples Jr.
