1928 – 2013

AUBURN — Albertine Pelletier, 84, of Auburn, died suddenly Friday at Clover Manor while battling Alzheimer’s.

She was born in St. Agathe on March 29, 1928, a daughter of Ernest and Alma (St. Armand) Poissonnier. She had resided in Lewiston since the age of 11.

Albertine was a retired Bates Mill worker and retired from working as a bartender for the 20M Club on Lincoln Street in Lewiston. She was educated in Lewiston schools and a member of the former St. Mary’s Church.

Survivors include her son, Philip Pelletier of Sabattus; granddaughter, Tarnya Constantino and her husband, Jason; a great-grandson whom she adored, Dominick Constantino of Turner; grandson, Todd Breton of Sabattus; her sister, Rita Seguin of Bingham; and Angelo (Delia) Bourgoin of Madawaska; her nephew, Robert Pelletier of Poland, whom she raised from the age of 12; her niece, friend and caregiver, Jacqueline Pelletier of Poland; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Cheryl Pelletier; brothers, Adrien and Alphonse, and Maurice and Rosaire Poissonnier; sisters, Cecile Michaud, Adeline Cummings, Evangeline Lagasse, Estelle Pelletier, Jeanette Poissonnier, Bernice Robbins, Bernadette Pelletier and Constance Bouvier.
