Lisbon Xtra-Mart Manager Tonia Ross, right, presents Ken Healey, principal of Lisbon High School, with a check for $500. Ross made the presentation as a gift to the school on behalf of the Educational Alliance Program, sponsored by Exxon/Mobil. The donation will be used to purchase “spirit shirts” for student awards in areas of academic achievement and overall good sportsmanship, according to Healey. Other groups interested in forming a community partnership with Lisbon schools can call 754-0021 or email [email protected].
