AUBURN —   Weekly men’s and women’s playoffs results from the Auburn Rec Department from March 24-27.

Fastbreak

TJ’s Place 72, Lewiston Pawn Shop 55

Cam Angel led TJ’s Place with 15 points in the 72-55 victory over Lewiston Pawn Shop. Kaleb Violette had 21 points to lead all scorers with 21 points in the losing effort.

KC Auto 72, Ross Hogs 68, OT

Josh Morin scored one-third of KC  Auto’s 72 points in the overtime victory over Ross Hogs. Alex Smith had 23 points for Ross Hogs.

Shooters 74, Crew 58

Justin Perron had 23 points in Shooters 74-58 win over the Crew. Deon Cheers had 16 points in the loss.

Shooters 67, KC Auto 61

Craig Milledge also dropped in 23 points for the Shooters in the 67-61 win over KC Auto. Josh Morin once again led the way for KC Auto with 16 points.

Shooters 77, Lewiston Pawn Shop 71

Kevin Gallant had a game-high 27 points for the Shooters in the 77-71 win over Lewiston Pawn Shop. Justin Underwood had 25 points for Lewiston Pawn Shop.

Slowdown A

Discount Dave’s 68, Graphic Explosion 63

Dave Madore had 24 points in Discount Dave’s 68-63 victory over Graphic Explosion. Andy Cantrell led Graphic Explosion with 27 points.

Championship Game

Shooters 67, Discount Dave’s 65

Shooters got 24 points from Justin Perron in the Slowdown A Championship Game victory over Discount Dave’s. Nate Jamo had 23 in the loss.

Slowdown B

Benchwarmers 56, Pontes Marine 35

Randy Chaput dropped in 18 points for the Benchwarmers in the 21 point victory over Pontes Marine. Jordan Larlee had 17 points for Pontes Marine.

Benchwarmers 56, Rack-Em-Up 33

Mike Dyer and Jerry Gross each had 13 points for the Benchwarmers in the 56-33 win over Rack-Em Up. Jeremy Callahan led all scorers with 19 points in the losing cause.

Championship Game

Benchwarmers 48, Rack-Em-Up 39

Dave Howe’s 20 points led the Benchwarmers to the 48-39 victory over Rack-Em-Up in the Slowdown B Championship Game. Eric Camire had 13 points for Rack-Em-Up.

Women

Team Madore 53, Team H-F 34

Jodi Auger paced Team Madore with 16 points in the 53-34 victory over Team H-F. Michelle Cummings had 13 points for Team H-F.

Center Street Dental 53, Team Madore 38

Betsy Sibley had 13 points to lead Center Street Dental in the victory over Team Madore. Amy Madore had 13 points in the losing effort.

Championship Game

North American 60, Center Street Dental 49

Lakesha Holloman had 15 of North American 60 points to capture Women’s League title. Katie Morrell had 14 points for Center Street Dental.

Fastbreak Championship

TJ’s Place 79, Shooter’s 72 2OT

Tyler Smithgaul 33 points led TJ’s Place to a 79-72 victory in double overtime over the Shooters to claim the Fastbreak title. Justin Perron had 22 points in the losing effort.

Bates Basketball Clinic

LEWISTON —   Please join the Bates men’s basketball team for a great week of basketball from Monday, April 15th through Thursday April 18th, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. everyday. Improve your fundamental basketball skills, meet some of the men’s basketball players and have fun! These clinics will include lectures and stations with a focus on individual offensive skills. It will also include various contests to improve your skills and let you play one-on-one versus the staff! The clinic will be directed by the Bates men’s basketball team and coaching staff.

Participants will be divided into groups by age, gender and skill level. Space is limited so please sign up early. “Walk ins” will be taken on a first come, first serve basis if there is room in the clinic. You can reserve a spot via email to Coach Josh Laprell at jlaprell@bates.edu.

Cost is $200 (or $50 per day) for the Camp, Camp is for boys and girls in first through eighth grade. There is a bag lunch include each day.
