HYPNOTIST RODERICK RUSSELL AT THE LEURA HILL EASTMAN PERFORMING ARTS CENTER

FRYEBURG —

will bring his award-winning, hilarious hypnosis show to the Leura Hill Eastman Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m. Friday, April 26 in support of Fryeburg Academy’s sophomore class. The show is appropriate for families. On-stage participation is strictly volunteer.

Imagine this: A group of your closest friends and colleagues volunteer to go on stage to be hypnotized. After only mere moments, they fall deeply and completely into what appears to be a state of profound sleep, only to awaken seconds later feeling refreshed, revived and thoroughly convinced that they are not actually on stage but are instead lounging on the beach.

Easily the most hilarious type of entertainment you’ll ever witness — or be a part of — the hypnosis stage show makes you and your friends the stars of the show. By applying the solid medical principles of clinical hypnosis to the realm of entertainment, Russell will guide you on a mental journey unlike any other where you’ll actually get to act out the most hilarious scenarios — from meeting movie stars to forgetting your name and losing body parts — believing that it’s real the entire time. If you’re on stage it will be the most vivid experience of your life and will create stunning memories. If you’re in the audience, your face will hurt from laughing so much.

Russell is a professional sword swallower, mind reader, stage hypnotist and speaker. He performs nationally and internationally and his work has been featured by many media, including such notables as the Discovery Channel, the Travel Channel, CNN, NPR, and Ripley’s Believe It Or Not. When not on the road, he resides in beautiful Burlington, VT. For more information about the hypnotist, visit www.roderickrussell.com.

Tickets are $10 per person and are available for purchase at the door the evening of the show. You may also call the box office at 207-935-9232 to reserve tickets. The theater is at 18 Bradley Street, Fryeburg Academy. Parking is free.
