LEWISTON — Free classes planned at The Ark are designed to help participants get healthy.
The program at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 25, will address “How to live to be 100: Lessons from the longest lived people on earth.”
The topic at 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 26, will be “Four secrets to weight-loss your doctors won’t tell you – they have nothing to do with diet or exercise.”
Tim Riesenberger from Seattle is a board-certified emergency medicine physician trained at Stanford University. He practices emergency medicine in Seattle and is strongly committed to empowering patients to use diet and lifestyle to avoid illness. He has a Masters in Public Health in preventive medicine from Loma Linda University.
Riesenberger strongly believes in a mind, body and spirit approach to medicine. As a seasoned and popular speaker, he shares spiritual messages along with health lectures and has presented at AMEN, ASI and GYC. He has been to 48 countries on six continents, volunteering his time to conduct seminars and provide medical assistance through the Islita Foundation, www.islita.org. His recent mission service includes the disasters in Haiti and Japan.
