NEW GLOUCESTER — Acclaimed artist and Grammy-nominated songwriter Seth Glier will  perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at the New Gloucester Village Coffee House. His performance at the Village Coffee House is part of his nationwide tour in support of his new release, “Things You Should Know,” an album steeped in all aspects of Americana, folk, blues, pop and soul.

Each song on the album tells its own story, weaving tales of love, pain and epic self realization, all wrapped in sweeping melodies and striking vocals.

Despite his young age, Glier is a seasoned troubadour and averages over 250 live performances annually. He has gone from opening acts to playing major folk festivals. He’s shared the stage with artists as diverse as James Taylor, Ani DiFranco and Emmy Lou Harris.
