Gifford’s Ice Cream 10, Pepsi 0

AUBURN —   Gifford’s Ice Cream scored in every inning and got a great starting pitching from Ricky Cote on their way to a 10-0 win over Pepsi.  Cote helped himself out at the plate going 3 for 3 with a double and triple and driving in 5 runs.  Gifford’s got great relief pitching from Cameron Sturgis and Dominic Priola.  Storm Jipson had the lone hit for Pepsi. 

East Auburn 12, Austin Associates 2

AUBURN —  East Auburn improved its record to 3-0 with a 12-2 victory over Austin Associates in Auburn Suburban Major Division baseball action.  Ben Cassidy stroked two doubles in the winning effort.  Chris Frey, Giles Paradie and Seth Webster also had two hits apiece for East Auburn.  Jahvon Coney, Mason Aube and Will Cassidy rounded out the hitting for East Auburn.  Jaelen Coney picked up the win on the mound yielding only 2 hits.  Hunter Fisher and Jake Jackson had the two hits for Austin Associates.  Chase Martin pitched well for Austin. 

Minors

Roopers 17, Hammond Lumber 16

AUBURN —   Roopers improved to 2-0 with a win over Hammond Lumber.  Down 16-15 in the bottom of the 5th inning Roopers rallied back to win 17-16. Outstanding individual efforts were made by Finnigan Thistle with an amazing unassisted triple play, offensively Joey Shea gritted out two hits while hobbled by an injury.

C.B. Bachman 17, M&P Auto 12

AUBURN —  C.B. Bachman notched its first win Thursday night with a 17 -12 victory over M&P Auto. C.B. was paced offensively by Brady Vincent with four hits. Connor Brann, Christian Frey, and Gabe Garcia knocked three hits each. Kamden Masselli turned an unassisted double play for M&P while Dante Garcia rapped a triple in a last inning rally.

Rotary 7, Gee & Bee 4

AUBURN —   Emmy Lashua had a home run and an single to lead Rotary to the 7-4 victory over Gee & Bee in major softball action. Abby Russell had two singles while Anna Leblanc, Cassady Bussierre, and Caroline Hammond each had a single for RRotary. Maureen Brann and Piper Norcross led Gee & Bee with two singles.

Mount Auburn Dental 13, Mac’s Grill 2

AUBURN —   Tyler Blanchard had an inside the park home run while Kyle Romero, Drew Lashua and Noah Yarnevich each banged out a pair of hits as Mount Auburn Dental cruised to a 13-2 victory over Mac’s Grill. Ryan Kappelmann scattered four hits and struck out eight  batters to earn the win on the mound for M.A.D. Austin Cox had a long double for one of Mac’s Grills four hits and Cole Butler pitched solid middle relief striking out five.
