PARIS — A Buckfield man accused of sexually assaulting two young girls pleaded not guilty to the charges Tuesday in Oxford County Superior Court.

Gary C. Noyes, 43, of Paris Hill Road, is out on $25,000 cash bail, and is not allowed to have contact with the two girls or any children under 16 years of age.

According to an affidavit by Detective Michael Chavez of the Maine State Police, police learned in November 2012 that a girl reported Noyes had sexually assaulted her and another girl. According to court files, the assaults took place between 2007 and 2011. Both girls were juveniles.

Noyes faces two Class A charges, each punishable by up to 30 years in prison and a $50,000 fine, and four Class B charges, punishable by up to 10 years in prison and $20,000 per offense.
