LEWISTON — The Lewiston Public Library will host two virtual Skype chats with young adult authors during the month of May.

Paul Langan, editor and writer of several titles from the popular Bluford High series, will speak to teens at 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 8.

Lauren Oliver, writer of the Delirium trilogy, will speak at 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 15.

Both visits will take place over webcam in the library’s first floor Jeanne Couture Room. Teens 13-19 are welcome to attend and participate. The visits will consist of a book talk and introduction by the author and a question-and-answer session. Teens are encouraged to bring questions to ask.

No registration is required for either of these events. Books by either author are readily available for checkout at the library. For further information, contact LPLReference@LewistonMaine.gov.
