PINELLAS PARK, Fla. — Linda Rose Irish, 65, of Pinellas Park, Fla., died Saturday, April 20.

She was born Linda Hanscom in Mechanic Falls. Linda grew up in Poland, raising cane with three brothers and two sisters, later marrying Carl Whitney and having two children, Carl Jr. and Lisa.

She relocated to St. Petersburg 30 plus years ago and married Michael Irish. Linda was a long-time advocate and service coordinator at Goodwill and loved the wonderful people she felt fortunate enough to assist and work with.

Linda loved Florida, Maine, in the summer, her children, Jack Amenda and his entire family, her grandchildren, the beach, getting her toenails painted, her family, the Dooleys, she loved helping any animal or person less fortunate, dolphins, angels, Survivor, Amazing Race, The Voice, Stephen King books, lighthouses and her beautiful gardens. She was the kind of Mom everyone should be fortunate enough to have, her love is infinite. She will be missed always by the many people who loved her.
