AUBURN — The Auburn Public Library turns up the heat with more sizzling summer book launches by Maine authors. At 2 p.m. Friday, June 28, come hear writers John Ford and Mark Nickerson as they share the stories behind their years in Maine law enforcement. Ford, a retired game warden, shares from his second book “This Cider Still Tastes Funny.” Last time Ford came to the library, he had the crowd in stitches. Joining him is his friend and former Maine state trooper, Mark Nickerson who is the author of “Blue Lights in the Night.” The library is at 49 Spring Street.
