SOUTH PARIS — Dr. Peter Beauboeuf, O.D., announces that the Beau Eye Center, 177 Main St., is open for business.

Beauboeuf is available from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. He also covers Beau Eye Center in Topsham.

Beauboeuf received his bachelor of science degree in biology from the University of Maine at Orono. He earned his doctorate in optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston. He has been practicing since 1998 in Michigan, Indiana, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Alaska. More recently, he decided to settle in Maine, where he has been practicing since 2004.

ln his spare time, he enjoys flying single-engine airplanes, playing guitar and enjoying the great outdoors. He lives in Brunswick with his wife and son.
