FARMINGTON — The American Hospital Association, in partnership with the Maine Hospital Association, recently awarded Rebecca Ryder, president and CEO of Franklin Memorial Hospital, with the AHA Grassroots Champion Award.
Ryder is being recognized for her exceptional leadership in generating grass-roots and community activity in support of her hospital’s mission. The award is presented annually to one individual from each state, with winners being chosen by the state association. The 2013 honorees were recognized at a special breakfast of Grassroots champions at the AHA annual membership meeting April 30. Ryder is one of 52 individuals honored this year.
