LEWISTON — Mary K. Wilson, 86, died peacefully on Thursday, May 16, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston surrounded by her loving family. She was a resident of Peru.

She was born on November 25, 1926, the daughter of Archie King Jr. and Dorothy (Davis) King. She attended school in Livermore Falls. On July 2, 1949, she married Kenneth Wilson; he passed away in 1994.

Mary worked in the Diamond Match in Peru and Stowell McGregor in Dixfield until their closing, and later at Blaisdell’s Variety in Peru until her retirement. Mary was a member of the Peru Extension, Senior Citizens and volunteered at the food pantry.

She loved spending time with family and friends, and going to her grandchildren’s and great-grandchildren’s events. She also loved watching her Red Sox and decorating for Christmas.

She is survived by her children Frederick “Ricky” Wilson and his wife, Sandra, and Donna Errington and her husband, Rodney, of all of Peru, and June Milledge and her husband, Bill, of Mexico; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; special family friend, Sandy Wing of Dixfield; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son, Dean Kenneth Wilson; her daughter, Rhonda Smith; siblings, infant sister, Abbie King, Madeline Goding, Beverly Nichols, Dot Hunt, Etta “Diddy” Cox, Annie Belanger, Palmer King, Archie King III and Ernest “Nookie” King.
